Cash donations may be arranged through our office by calling
905-728-7311 Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
In-Kind Donations (Material Gifts)
The Denise House accepts in-kind donations. In accordance with accepted financial standards, the shelter
cannot assign values to in-kind donations. We appreciate donations such
as:
- new and gently used seasonal clothing for women and children
- towels and linens
- household items
Your in-kind donations will be used to help The Denise House meet the needs
of the women and children we serve When women leave The Denise House to relocate in the community, they
often are in need of basic household furnishings. Unfortunately, we are
unable to store large items, but if you have extra appliances, beds,
dressers, tables, chairs or lamps, please call The
Denise House at 905-728-7311. We may have a woman who could use your
donation.
The Denise House welcomes donations of non-perishable food items that
have not reached their expiration date. We also need paper products,
cleaning supplies and personal products. Please contact the
shelter at 905-728-7311 to make arrangements.
